What is Campylobacter?
A quick glance at the Health Protection Agency Website tells us that
Campylobacter, is the most common cause of food poisoning in Britain. Symptoms include diarrhoea, vomiting, stomach pains and cramps, fever, and generally feeling unwell.
People are usually infected after eating contaminated food. The bacteria is found mostly on raw poultry and is common in raw meat.
