"Staff have been ramping up hand hygiene," she said. "Traditional cleaners aren't effective, so we've brought in powerful cleaners to ensure everything is disinfected well."
She said the enteric virus generally attacks the digestive system and leads to nauseaa and diarrhea.
Staff continues to scour the facility to ensure early detection of the virus with an eight to 24-hour incubation period.
"The symptoms are spotted early," she said. "The first thing we're looking at is dehydration."
